Dallas- Propensity, a new class of professional service firm launches via the re-assembly of a highly recognized and successful service team and the partnership of industry pioneers.
Rich Lavinski and the leadership team that pioneered highly specialized accounting and finance project services and Big 4 caliber interim staffing has joined forces with Sean Merrill and Gondola Services, a pioneer in the area of fully integrated Payroll and HR Management systems that bridge the gap between HR and Financial Management functions. The new entity, Propensity, Ltd, is a partnership that includes the talent of the original Lavinski Allan & Associates’ team of Rich Lavinski, Joan Chalif, Rebecca Luff, Chuck Waters, and Janice Leger, and Senior Consultant and Implementation Specialist, Herman Kuehner. New to the team are Business Development Managers, Samantha Hendricks and Daffnee White and Recruiting Specialist, Janice Philpott.
The Propensity partners have created the first service offering to successfully bridge the goals, priorities, and objectives of the CFO with those of the Chief HR Officer. “On any given day we are accounting, finance and system professionals who know HR, or we are HR professionals who know accounting, finance and systems.” Mr. Merrill states. “Our offerings align people, systems and process and result in the enablement of HR and Finance to operate on the same page utilizing the same measures and dashboard. Our services allow HR professionals to be more effective and strategic while enabling Controllers and CFOs to support HR initiatives and measure HR driven ROI.”
Mr. Lavinski founded Lavinski Allan & Associates one of the first and most successful big 4 caliber project services and interim staffing services in the Metroplex. “When we started Aleta McGhee, Jane Noblet and Brenda Pejovich were the only players in this niche. They were all great competitors.” Before long Robert Half Management Re-sources, The Parsons Group, Jefferson Wells and other national firms moved into this market. In 1999, Accretive Solutions approached Mr. Lavinski to purchase his firm including Dallas, Houston and San Antonio/Austin operations. Mr. Lavinski sold to Accretive in early 2000 and the firm now operates nationally under the brands, Horn Murdock Cole and Dickson Allan. Mr. Lavinski served as Accretive Regional President until December 2003.
Over the last 12 months Propensity has developed a highly successful strategy and methodology in people acquisition, people management and people development, while maintaining its long standing expertise in accounting and finance project services focused around the execution of Sox & HR compliance projects, policies procedures, internal controls, system implementation and conversions, mergers, acquisitions and process/system/people assimilation.
